When is the best time to do a 3D/4D Ultrasound?

The best time to see your baby's face and features is between 28 and 32 weeks.  If you are planning on coming in twice for a 3D/4D ultrasound, we recommend the first visit to take place between 18 and 25 weeks and the second visit between 28 and 32 weeks. We can determine your baby's gender by week 16. Women with twins should visit around 25 weeks, as twins have less space. Generally speaking 3D & 4D imaging is good any time after week 20.

Can I bring my family and friends to enjoy my 3D/4D experience?

YES!  We encourage you to bring your family members and friends.

Is it safe? Are there any risks to me or my baby?

Extensive studies over 30 years have found that Ultrasound has not been shown to cause any harm to mother or baby. Routine scanning of all pregnancies is now normal and accepted universally. In 3D/4D scanning, exactly the same type of sound waves and intensity of Ultrasound is used as with conventional 2D scanning. 3D and 4D Ultrasound will be similar to a conventional scan in terms of exposure.

What is the difference between 3D and 4D?

3D is the picture and the 4th dimension is movement.

What type of payment do you accept?

At the moment, we only accept cash. However, we are in the process of applying for a credit card facility.

What if my baby doesn't cooperate at all?

We try our best to get the baby in a great position but it is their world and sometimes all we get is their backside. If your baby is completely uncooperative (meaning: we get no face pictures at all), we will re-schedule you on your next convenient time free of charge.

Will I always get a beautiful picture of my baby?

Hopefully, but not always. Every baby scans differently, depending on its gestational age, position, amount of fluid, and mother's condition. We promise to make every effort to obtain the best possible images of whatever parts of the baby that can be seen.

Who conducts the scan?

To ensure that you received the highest quality experience, only Philippine Board-certified OB-GYNECOLOGISTS/Sonologists performs the scan. Our specialists are Fellows of Philippine Obstetrical and Gynecological Society and Philippine Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology. We can relay the results immediately to your attending physician if necessary so proper management can be done.
